Delta Green is a Czech-based startup that developed a solution to harness smart appliances and turn residential households into virtual batteries. Energy storage hardwares (like PV, EV) are aggregated together into a single network to be controlled remotely, and thereby energy usage can ramped down when energy demand is spiking, and ramped up/charged when prices are low. When done across thousands of households, residential flexibility aggregation can have meaningful positive impact on the stability of the energy grid.
